A Day in Moka — Latour and a Local Railway Journey

10 photos

KOBELCO Moka Ichigo Hall, Main Hall · Moka, Tochigi

After greeting the audience, Latour is collected by the Super Kids staff! Thank you for a wonderful day.

On 3 October 2026, I travelled to Moka to support Latour in Music Picture Book: Dandyism. The Moka Railway journey from Shimodate, an old-fashioned ticket and Moka’s steam-locomotive-shaped station added to the fun. After the concert, Latour was collected by the staff following his farewell to the audience! These ten photographs recall the railway journey, moments at the venue and the sunset on the way home.

The green-and-red train is apparently nicknamed the “upside-down watermelon train” by local children!
It has been a while since I last held a ticket like this. A little moment of nostalgia.
Moka Station is shaped like a steam locomotive. A station building that brings a smile!
A steam locomotive on display, bringing back memories of a childhood ride.
Today’s bento, with a colourful selection of dishes.
A keepsake photograph of the Zoorasian Brass cookie tin.
Sunset over the tracks on the way home. Changing trains for Shin-Yokohama, and home for the first time in eight days.
